Overview

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. Your expertise includes Java and Python, and you have experience in API Development. You are familiar with data structures and algorithms, and have worked with generative AI models such as Gemini or OpenAI during your coursework or projects. You are adept at developing, building, and deploying solutions while collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

You have experience in domains such as supply chain, customer products, or customer sales, and are knowledgeable in Web Applications and Front-End Development, particularly with Angular. You are versatile and display leadership qualities, ready to take on critical projects that align with Google’s needs. You are passionate about advocating the use of Generative AI for coding and developer productivity, and you enjoy mentoring and building a team around integrated charters.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will work on specific projects that are critical to the company's needs, with opportunities to switch teams as the business evolves. You will partner with the US Software Engineering team and business teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal processes, including customer ordering. You will build agentic AI agents and flows for Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) business, ensuring that the solutions you develop are scalable and efficient.

You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, and will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions you create meet the high standards expected at Google. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to ensure that the technical solutions align with business goals. Your role will also include mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within your team.
