You possess a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, gained through either academic or industry experience. Your background includes working in quality-audited environments, where you have become familiar with traceable requirements, design documents, and test plans. You are adept at diagnosing and resolving code and system health issues, and you have experience with software test engineering. Your expertise extends to architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems, including data platforms and AI/ML applications.

You are a versatile engineer who brings fresh ideas from various domains, including information retrieval, distributed computing, and security. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to projects that impact billions of users. You understand the importance of best practices in software development, including style guidelines, code accuracy, and efficiency. You are proactive in triaging product or system issues, analyzing their sources, and resolving them effectively.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will work on critical projects that align with Google Cloud's needs.
