You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience programming in C++. Your expertise includes 2 years of experience with iOS application development, and you are proficient in either Objective-C or Swift. You have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and you are familiar with performance and systems data analysis. You have experience developing accessible technologies and managing multi-threaded code, particularly with iOS concurrency systems like Swift Concurrency and GCD.
You are skilled in debugging performance-related issues using tools like Instruments and have a strong grasp of code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to bring fresh ideas to the table, contributing to the development of technologies that impact billions of users.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects that enhance the Google App on iOS. You will collaborate with leads and cross-functional partners to plan and implement changes that improve user sentiment and engagement. Your role will involve building expertise in specific areas of the Google App, ensuring that user journeys are well-crafted and optimized for performance.
