Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or technical project management. Your background includes experience in compliance or audit services, and you are skilled in program management, change management, and communication strategy. You have a proven ability to interact with multiple Malaysian government agencies and regulators, and you can communicate fluently in both Bahasa Malaysia and English to engage with local stakeholders.

You are familiar with regulations such as the Malaysia Cybersecurity Act 2024, BNM Risk Management in Technology (RMiT), and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Additionally, you have knowledge of ISO certifications related to data center operations and cybersecurity, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 22301. You excel at managing multiple projects in a changing environment and possess excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with your team and partners to build and drive the development of the Data Center compliance program, enhancing and transforming practices and processes to support compliance and audit requirements across the organization.

You will create and maintain program documentation and training, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Your role will involve regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, requiring strong investigative and communication skills to construct and defend messages or insights derived from your analysis. You will also be expected to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally, as needed.
