Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related technical field, along with 8 years of experience assessing and developing cyber security solutions across various security domains. Your background includes delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising effective solutions. You possess strong communication skills in English, enabling you to work effectively with internal partners and customer teams.

Your experience includes working with decentralized IT teams to troubleshoot implementation blockers and drive remediation without direct administrative control. You are knowledgeable about rolling out security controls in distributed environments according to industry standards, and you understand infrastructure, operating system, and application vulnerabilities, as well as security architecture and controls.

You have a solid understanding of technologies used in pen testing, security event analysis, incident response, and computer forensics. Your ability to interface with clients in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing, sets you apart as a trusted consultant.

What you'll do

As a Principal Cyber Security Consultant, you will be dedicated to a 1-year transformation project on a strategic account, focusing on security control deployment across multiple security domains including Asset Discovery, Endpoint Security, Attack Surface Management, Identity and Privileged Access Management, Security Detection, and Incident Response. You will develop roadmaps and recommendations to enhance clients' cloud security architecture, governance, and standards.

Your role will involve identifying, incorporating, and articulating cloud security best practices such as Developer Security Operations Strategy, Zero Trust Design, and Cloud Incident Response. You will perform security configuration reviews for common cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, ensuring that security measures align with industry standards and best practices.

You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique security challenges and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. Your expertise will guide clients in enhancing their security posture and achieving compliance with relevant regulations. You will also stay updated on the latest trends and threats in the cyber security landscape, ensuring that your recommendations are informed by current best practices.
