Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Program Manager II to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within the Strategy, Operations, and Acceleration Team. You'll coordinate with various stakeholders and manage project schedules to ensure alignment and progress. This role requires 10 years of experience in program or project management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, and you possess an MBA or advanced degree as a preferred qualification. You leverage your technical acumen to engage in architectural discussions and translate requirements for non-technical audiences, using data-driven insights to guide strategy. Navigating stakeholder ecosystems is second nature to you, and you have the ability to influence executive leadership and align teams across various functions including engineering, GTM, HR, Legal, and Risk and Compliance.

In your previous roles, you've demonstrated that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. You understand the importance of building products that create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager, you excel at leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements and manage project schedules. You are adept at identifying risks and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and synthesizing progress across many functional teams into clear plans and decision-ready communications for executives. You will manage ongoing engagement with executive steering committees and perform critical path analysis across all functions, including product and technical integration, HR and employee experience, Go-to-Market strategy and execution, and Compliance. Your ability to synthesize efforts into executive-level documentation will ensure alignment and progress across teams, making you a key player in driving consensus and successful project outcomes.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a team that values collaboration and innovation. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will have a significant impact on the company's success. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with a culture that promotes professional growth and development.
