Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience, and at least 7 years of experience with a public accounting firm, law firm, or industry focusing on cross-border transactions. Your expertise includes a year of experience with US tax rules applicable to cross-border sales of hardware, such as Subpart F. You possess strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with cross-functional business partners at all levels. You are adept at developing creative and practical solutions to ambiguous problems, even when legal precedents are limited.

Desirable

An MBA, Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or Master of Science in Taxation (MST) is preferred. Your understanding of the taxation of cross-border transactions is a significant asset, as is your ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while focusing on details and the bigger picture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead project management for both short and long-term business projects requiring tax involvement. You will collect information on new product launches and conduct due diligence on tax implications. Preparing presentations to communicate and document tax requirements and risks for these product launches will be a key responsibility. You will also participate in meetings with cross-functional representatives to discuss tax recommendations and requirements, ensuring that Google makes sound financial decisions.

What we offer
