Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in streaming services or broadcast media digital distribution. Your background includes 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL, as well as system design and network architecture. You possess experience with video encoding and content metadata, and you are familiar with designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale multicast routing environments. You have built network automation frameworks and tools, such as Ansible or custom-built solutions, and have experience supporting high-bandwidth applications in cloud environments, preferably GCP. Your responsibilities include learning about traffic traversing the network, including transport protocols, video compressions, metadata, and traffic patterns. You will perform packet analysis and extend your networking expertise to the general video streaming solution and architecture space. Collaboration with business stakeholders, software engineering, SRE, and layer 1 deployment teams will be essential to ensure the network meets the needs of applications and services.
