Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 8 years of experience in recruitment or people operations, with a strong background in influencing and managing multiple stakeholders. Your ability to communicate fluently in English and Japanese is essential for supporting client relationship management in the Tokyo region. You have a proven track record of developing and motivating teams, including setting team-wide goals and engaging in the growth and development of your direct reports.

Your experience includes at least 3 years in people management, supervision, or a team leadership role, where you have successfully built, scaled, and led staffing teams for large, complex organizations. You possess excellent business acumen skills, allowing you to connect people plans to business outcomes effectively. You are creative and driven, which enables you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will guide candidates through Google's hiring process, ensuring they connect with the unique culture and opportunities at Google. You will collaborate closely with others to share knowledge and incorporate innovative practices into your market. Managing headcount progress for cross-organization client groups will be a key responsibility, promoting tracking and influencing headcount allocation, pacing, and the strategy of hiring managers.

You will leverage data and market insights to influence and guide both your team and stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making. Your role will involve managing executive stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization, ensuring that recruitment strategies align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies that attract top talent to Google, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
