Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety, public policy, or related fields. Your background includes project management and data analytics, enabling you to effectively manage team relationships in Latin America. You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate in Portuguese as a plus. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills allow you to influence cross-functionally at various levels, making you a strategic team player.
You are a big-picture thinker with a passion for promoting trust and safety in digital environments. Your technical know-how and problem-solving skills are complemented by user insights and proactive communication, which you leverage to protect users and partners from abuse across Google products. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working globally with engineers and product managers to tackle abuse and fraud cases with urgency.
What you'll do
As the Market Responsibility Specialist for Latin America, you will lead initiatives that drive consistency in Trust and Safety’s approach to supporting elections worldwide. You will ensure connectivity among stakeholders to support the evolution of Trust and Safety’s approach to sensitive enforcement decisions. Your role will involve triaging threats, preparing risk assessments, and developing action plans based on market knowledge, including regional events and escalations. You will act as the main point of contact for these initiatives, ensuring that the team is aligned and informed.
