You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. Your background includes experience in networking, particularly in configuration, control, and data planes, and you have a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and large-scale distributed systems. You excel at developing solutions to ambiguous problems that have significant impact, and you possess the ability to quickly resolve customer-related issues. You are versatile and display leadership qualities, eager to tackle new challenges across the full-stack as technology continues to evolve.
Desirable
A Master's degree in a related technical field is preferred, along with experience in AI-driven workloads and cloud networking products. Familiarity with the hybrid cloud technical roadmap and a passion for engineering excellence will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, and scale cloud networking products and infrastructure that enable Google's hybrid cloud technical roadmap. You will advocate for engineering and operational excellence, creating designs for complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals. Your work will directly impact how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. You will be involved in building Cloud Interconnect, which virtualizes the edge and foundation for AI-driven workloads, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance.
