Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development using C++, C, or Python. Your background includes 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and at least 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. You have developed large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, and possess experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. You also have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with 5 years of experience in this area. If you have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, that would be a plus. You are versatile, display leadership qualities, and are enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full-stack.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on projects critical to the companyβs needs, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. You will be involved in designing and implementing software solutions that handle information at massive scale, extending beyond web search. Your responsibilities will include ensuring best practices in coding, contributing to documentation, and adapting content based on user feedback.
