Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development across various programming languages. Your background includes 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and at least 1 year in software design and architecture. You bring a strong technical leadership presence with 8 years of development experience, particularly in cloud platforms, virtualization, and platform security.
Your expertise extends to system programming and kernel development, with a solid understanding of Linux and OS internals. You are familiar with Virtual Machine Extension (VMX) and have experience with drivers. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Google Cloud, you will work on projects that are critical to the needs of the organization, contributing to the development of technologies that impact billions of users. You will anticipate customer needs and take ownership of your projects, driving innovation and solutions across the full stack.
