You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in software development. Your background includes 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. You possess deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms, having worked extensively with them for at least 8 years. Your experience also includes 3 years in a technical leadership role, where you've led project teams and set technical direction. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various teams to drive projects forward.

You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full-stack. Your technical expertise spans information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing. You are passionate about developing technologies that impact billions of users and are eager to contribute to projects that push technology forward.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work on critical projects that align with Google's needs, focusing on the Search Serving Infrastructure. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions that provide scalability, reliability, and low latency. You will collaborate with Area Tech Leads, other engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that the platform evolution aligns with Search's architectural efforts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining code quality of production systems and leading code reviews.

As a mentor, you will guide junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and navigate complex technical challenges. You will also be involved in setting the technical direction for projects and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.
