Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field, along with 5 years of experience in program or technical project management. Your background includes experience in data center program management, project conceptualization, campus planning and design, and stakeholder management. You possess excellent communication skills, particularly in German, and are adept at managing project budgets, timelines, and resources. You understand the importance of value engineering to ensure optimal project value and are comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of project planning and execution are handled efficiently. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules. Your role will involve developing detailed project plans that ensure resource availability and allocation, delivering every project on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for facilitating the work of your team and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your ability to travel domestically and internationally will be essential as you manage project campus planning and act as the primary point of contact for the principal data center delivery team.
