Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in program management. Your expertise includes the design and planning of data center infrastructure, and you possess strong organizational and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in navigating ambiguity and defining cross-functional programs in large, complex work groups, demonstrating your ability to keep the big picture in focus while addressing unique engineering challenges.
Your experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects has equipped you with the ability to develop strategies and drive programs through significant business challenges. You are comfortable communicating with both technical teams and executives, ensuring that project analyses and recommendations are clearly articulated. Your leadership expertise allows you to manage projects of various sizes and scopes, identifying risks and effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
Desirable
A Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field is preferred, as well as experience in managing scalable models and data foundations in collaboration with software engineers and supply planning teams. Your ability to create communication channels across various teams will be a valuable asset in this role.
What you'll do
As a Lead Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, planning requirements with internal customers and guiding projects through the entire lifecycle. You will manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them clearly to project stakeholders. Your role will involve leading the design and execution of modeling ecosystems, data collection, model design, tradeoff and constraints analysis, evaluation, model tracking, and decision-making processes.
You will collaborate closely with software engineers and supply planning teams to ensure the successful execution of scalable models and data foundations. Your ability to manage execution across diverse teams will be crucial in driving the success of Google's projects, which span the globe. You will be responsible for keeping the team aligned and focused on delivering impactful results while navigating the complexities of large-scale engineering challenges.
