You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes managing machine learning or artificial intelligence programs, and you are skilled in quantitative analysis and cost-effectiveness assessment techniques. You have experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, such as TensorFlow, and a solid understanding of data quality metrics for AI products. You are adept at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring that complex ideas are accessible to all stakeholders.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, managing cross-functional and cross-team projects effectively. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you believe that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for everyone involved. You are comfortable leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, using your technical expertise to guide your team.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead the optimization of machine learning performance across various projects. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver groundbreaking ML/AI solutions, ensuring that project requirements are met and risks are managed effectively. Your role will involve planning project schedules, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and delivering critical pieces of analysis that drive new insights and uncover improvement opportunities.

You will be instrumental in identifying and implementing large-scale measurable and scalable solutions for machine learning projects. Your ability to explain analyses and recommendations to executives will be crucial, as will your discussions with engineers regarding technical trade-offs in product development. You will build, maintain, and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards to track project progress and performance metrics.
