Gopuff is hiring a Forklift Operations Associate to join their Distribution Center team in Richmond, CA. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading freight, stacking merchandise, and operating material handling equipment. This position requires 1+ years of forklift experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of forklift experience. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, and are capable of lifting up to 49 lbs. Your enthusiasm for challenges and commitment to safety make you a great fit for the team. You understand the importance of maintaining warehouse organizational standards and are ready to assist your Area Manager and Leads with various tasks.
What you'll do
As a Forklift Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the Distribution Center by loading and unloading freight and stacking and storing merchandise using a forklift and other material handling equipment. You will ensure that inbound shipments are unloaded safely and that products are moved to designated storage locations. Your responsibilities will also include pulling and preparing products for shipment, completing inspection forms prior to operating equipment, and reporting any safety concerns to management. You will maintain a safe and inclusive work environment by following the Standards of Conduct policy and assisting with all warehouse tasks as delegated by your Area Manager.
