Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and deployment, with hands-on experience in using Infrastructure-as-Code to manage services effectively. Your expertise in high-performance networking and storage systems allows you to optimize AI solutions that are critical to the company's success. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of AI systems.
You possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies and have experience deploying services in a datacenter environment. Your ability to benchmark and validate performance metrics is essential for driving improvements in service delivery. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for optimization and are comfortable working with both in-house and off-the-shelf solutions.
What you'll do
As a Senior Engineer in the Cloud Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying services on Graphcore's fleet of AI systems. You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, Datacentre Operations, and Product Development teams to ensure that services are integrated and optimized for performance. Your role will involve cloud integration, validation, and performance benchmarking, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the high standards expected in the AI industry.
You will take a hands-on approach to your work, leveraging your technical skills to deploy services efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include optimizing existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for cloud deployment. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge of cloud technologies with the team.
