Who you are
You are currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program, whether at the Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD level. You possess a strong analytical mindset and are curious about technology beyond the classroom, engaging in personal projects that showcase your mechanical skills. Your interpersonal skills allow you to work effectively in team settings, and you have a keen interest in the practical applications of mechanical engineering in the field of AI. Experience with 3D CAD software, particularly Creo, is preferred but not mandatory.
What you'll do
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Graphcore, you will engage in various aspects of mechanical design, utilizing Creo 3D CAD software to create and refine designs. You will collaborate with the thermal team to develop test procedures and assist in setting up a new thermal lab dedicated to testing AI hardware. Your role will involve supporting the thermal testing of new hardware using various lab equipment, as well as evaluating, testing, and troubleshooting prototypes alongside the mechanical and thermal design teams. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment focused on AI innovation.
