You have extensive experience in supply quality management, ideally within the technology or manufacturing sectors. Your background includes leading teams and driving supplier performance to meet high standards of quality and reliability. You are skilled in using quality management tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, and PPAP, and you understand how to apply these methodologies effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You possess strong leadership qualities, having successfully mentored and developed teams of Supplier Quality Engineers. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations, allows you to drive initiatives that enhance supplier performance and product quality. You are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment and value diverse perspectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, guiding them in their professional development while ensuring that supplier performance aligns with Graphcore's quality standards. You will be responsible for driving supplier qualification processes, conducting audits, and managing ongoing performance metrics. Establishing clear quality expectations and KPIs will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will leading Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

You will partner closely with various departments to support New Product Introductions (NPI), manage change effectively, and mitigate risks associated with supplier quality. Your strategic approach will involve continuously improving supplier quality strategies, leveraging your expertise in quality management tools to enhance processes and outcomes. As Graphcore ramps up production of its industry-leading AI systems, your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and reliability across the supply chain.
