What you'll do

As a Senior TypeScript Backend Engineer, you will join the CoreApps Platform team, which is responsible for the foundational engineering of Groupon's global commerce engine. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability of mission-critical services that handle over 100,000 requests per minute. You will lead efforts to modernize the platform, transitioning from legacy systems to a cutting-edge architecture that utilizes TypeScript and Node.js. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment, ensuring that the platform remains robust and scalable as it evolves.
