Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience as a sell-side or buy-side analyst. You follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research, focusing on individual companies, particularly in the technology sector, including Enterprise Software/SaaS, Internet (FANG), and Hardware/Semiconductors. Your ability to stay current on company and industry knowledge is essential, and you thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You possess an outgoing personality and can engage with professionals at all levels, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn. Your effective time management and organizational skills enable you to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor a coverage universe of public companies within the technology sector by tracking earnings releases, investor presentations, SEC filings, sell-side research, and industry news. You will create and moderate teleconferences on timely topics featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network, aiming to produce actionable insights for clients. Additionally, you will review teleconference transcripts to ensure the quality of content. High performers in this role will be considered for full-time employment, contributing to the ongoing development of the Insights product, which is designed to facilitate investment research for Guidepoint clients.

What we offer

Guidepoint offers a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
