Who you are
You have 1+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience — you've developed a keen eye for detail and understand the importance of accuracy in payroll processing. Working toward a PCP designation is an asset, showcasing your commitment to professional growth in this field.
Your previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and Workday has equipped you with the necessary skills to navigate payroll systems efficiently — you are comfortable handling sensitive HR, payroll, and benefits-related information with confidentiality and professionalism.
You possess excellent organizational and time-management skills — you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are willing to roll up your sleeves to tackle challenges beyond your typical day-to-day responsibilities. Your proactive approach ensures that you stay ahead of payroll deadlines and compliance requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the distribution centers by ensuring accurate employee timesheet reporting, including vacation, overtime, and sick pay. You will update payroll records and respond to employee inquiries regarding payments, ensuring that all employees are compensated correctly and on time.
You will coordinate changes in payroll with the People Team, including terminations, new hires, leaves of absence, retro adjustments, and salary changes. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation.
Additionally, you will support year-end and T4 processing, investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies under the guidance of the Payroll Manager. Your ability to communicate effectively will help you respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
