Who you are

You have at least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of automated systems, preferably in the food, beverage, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries. You possess a completed vocational training in mechanics, electrical engineering, or automation technology, or a comparable qualification, along with several years of professional experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively lead and motivate your team, creating a positive work environment that encourages feedback and internal change. You work independently, structured, and diligently, and you thrive in a startup environment.

What you'll do

As the Lead Operations Manager, you will oversee maintenance processes, including the upkeep of automation and manufacturing systems. You will engage your team members effectively, motivating and coaching them to achieve operational excellence. Collaborating with the maintenance leadership team, you will support the development of the maintenance roadmap and set standards for operational efficiency at our Barleben location near Magdeburg. You will ensure compliance with maintenance regulations and facilitate both planned and unplanned repairs, identifying issues and proposing improvement ideas to enhance operational performance.
