Your hands-on approach to managing personal protective equipment (PPE), hazardous waste, and permits demonstrates your commitment to safety and compliance. You are familiar with regulatory requirements and have a track record of successfully implementing EHS programs in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As the EHS Specialist at Hermeus, you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and ownership of EHS programs at the engine test facility located at Cecil Airport. You will serve as the primary on-site EHS authority, ensuring that all operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with operations and facilities teams to support engine test operations, focusing on hazard mitigation and safe execution of high-risk activities.

You will manage the documentation related to land-use control, hazardous waste, and permits, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. Your strong field presence will allow you to conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will also be responsible for training team members on EHS protocols and best practices, fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
