HockeyStack is seeking a Creative Director to lead the editorial and creative initiatives for their marketing team. You'll shape the storytelling and creative direction of a rapidly growing B2B brand. This role requires strong leadership and creative vision.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in leading creative teams and developing compelling content strategies that resonate with B2B audiences. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you understand the nuances of storytelling in a business context and can translate complex ideas into engaging narratives. You are skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all content aligns with the brand's voice and objectives. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, encouraging your team to push creative boundaries while meeting deadlines.
You possess a deep understanding of various content formats, including video, podcasts, and written materials, and you are adept at leveraging data to inform creative decisions. Your experience in working closely with senior leadership allows you to influence brand strategy effectively. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the challenge of producing high-quality content that drives engagement and conversion.
Desirable
Experience in the B2B tech space is a plus, as is familiarity with AI and automation technologies. You have a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work and can demonstrate how your contributions have positively impacted brand growth and customer engagement.
What you'll do
As the Editorial & Creative Lead at HockeyStack, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of content creation, from ideation to execution. You will collaborate with the CRO and senior leadership to define the brand's narrative and ensure that all content initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. Your role will involve managing a team of creatives, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and produce exceptional work.
You will be responsible for developing a content calendar that prioritizes high-impact projects and ensures a consistent flow of engaging content across various channels. This includes cinematic commercials, narrative videos, AI-generated ads, and high-signal blogs. You will also analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies and maximize audience engagement.
In addition to content creation, you will play a key role in shaping the overall marketing strategy, working closely with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. You will represent the creative team in cross-functional meetings, advocating for the importance of storytelling in driving business results.
