Who you are

You have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience in an SRE, DevOps, or software engineering role. You possess the ability to write software and have a working knowledge of various tools and technologies that enhance the developer experience. Your experience includes diagnosing and repairing distributed systems, and you are comfortable operating in a production application environment.

You are skilled in designing and building infrastructure platforms and have a knack for identifying and implementing new platform features. Your background includes refactoring, rewriting, or retiring existing platform features, and you understand the importance of maintaining and upgrading systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at communicating effectively, whether through writing documentation or participating in meetings. You are proactive in enabling development teams by providing executable interfaces to infrastructure platforms and tools that support the entire software development lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools will help you excel in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will write software tools, libraries, and automation services that enhance the developer experience. You will design and build our infrastructure platform, identifying and implementing new features that improve efficiency and reliability. Your responsibilities will include researching and evaluating new technologies to keep our systems up-to-date and effective.

You will operate our developer experience and production application environments, diagnosing and repairing any issues that arise. Maintenance, upgrades, and migrations will be part of your routine tasks, as will controlling or eliminating repetitive tasks and alert noise to streamline operations.

You will participate in a flexible on-call rotation, ensuring that our systems remain operational and efficient. Your role will also involve communicating your work through documentation and demos, showcasing the tools and best practices you develop to support the software development lifecycle.
