You have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on cybersecurity — your experience includes designing and building systems that enhance offensive security capabilities. You are proficient in Python and Linux, and you understand the intricacies of security tools and methodologies. Your passion for cybersecurity drives you to stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities, enabling you to proactively address security challenges.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of professionals, including former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators and experienced engineers. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your commitment to continuous learning and improvement aligns with Horizon3 AI's mission to innovate in the cybersecurity space.
Desirable
Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit and Burp Suite is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud environments like AWS. You may also have certifications in cybersecurity, which would further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
As an Attack Engineer at Horizon3 AI, you will be responsible for designing and building systems that drive the offensive capabilities of the NodeZero platform. Your role will involve researching and developing new techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, ensuring that the platform remains at the forefront of cybersecurity technology. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and cybersecurity experts to enhance the functionality and effectiveness of the platform.
You will also engage in testing and validating the security of various environments, including internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud setups. Your work will directly contribute to the mission of helping organizations proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors before they can be exploited by malicious actors. You will be expected to document your findings and share insights with the team to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
