Overview

HubSpot is hiring a Lead Compliance Analyst to oversee the Product SOX Compliance program. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure compliance for new products and features. This role requires extensive experience in SOX or GRC compliance.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a seasoned compliance professional with a strong background in SOX or GRC frameworks. You have a proven track record of working closely with technical teams, exercising sound judgment, and managing complex compliance workstreams. Your experience includes leading compliance onboarding for new products and features, ensuring they are designed and operated in a compliant manner.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to provide clear and actionable guidance to cross-functional teams. You are adept at identifying SOX-relevant risks and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented early in the product lifecycle. Your analytical mindset allows you to execute deep-dive testing of high-risk controls and perform thorough root-cause analysis when issues arise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead compliance onboarding for new products and features, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to review control design and operational readiness prior to Go-Live. You will execute high-risk control testing, focusing on areas such as user access management and data integrity. Your responsibilities will include documenting results for audit purposes and collaborating with various stakeholders to support remediation efforts.

You will play a critical role in shifting SOX compliance from a reactive audit response to a proactive assurance model. This involves working directly with Engineering, Product, and Finance partners to manage compliance issues effectively. You will be responsible for providing guidance on control expectations and evidence requirements, ensuring that all teams are aligned on compliance objectives.

What we offer

At HubSpot, we value a collaborative and inclusive work environment. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to maintaining high standards of compliance while fostering innovation in product development. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our compliance practices and contributing to the success of our products.
