You are a Senior/Lead Asterisk Developer with a strong background in building and scaling cloud PBX solutions. You have a deep understanding of Asterisk and SIP protocols, and you thrive in environments that require high availability and scalability. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you are self-motivated, taking the initiative to drive projects forward. You are comfortable working in a collaborative team setting and are eager to contribute to all parts of the ecosystem built around Asterisk.
You have experience with automated CI/CD processes, which allows you to streamline development and deployment workflows effectively. Your knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking is solid, enabling you to make informed decisions that enhance system performance and reliability. You are not just limited to Asterisk; you are open to exploring and implementing various technologies that complement your work.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing various SIP proxy features using Asterisk, ensuring that the solutions you build are robust and scalable. You will collaborate closely with your team to design and develop features that meet the needs of users while maintaining high standards of quality. Your daily tasks will involve coding, testing, and deploying new functionalities, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in the cloud PBX environment.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and guiding them in best practices for Asterisk development. As part of a larger team, you will participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and innovative ideas for enhancing the cloud PBX solution.
