Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in application security, with a strong focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in web applications — your expertise in OWASP guidelines has helped you secure applications effectively. You are proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, allowing you to understand and analyze code for security flaws. Your experience with SQL enables you to assess database security and implement best practices for data protection. You have hands-on experience with security tools like Burp Suite, which you use to perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. You are familiar with secure coding practices and have a solid understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest security trends and threats.
Desirable
Experience with cloud security and familiarity with AWS or Azure security best practices would be a plus. Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR or PCI-DSS is also desirable, as it helps in aligning security practices with regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments of InMobi's applications and services, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies.
