Who you are
You have a strong background in embedded systems and cloud infrastructure, with experience leading technical teams. You understand the complexities of managing large-scale device operations and have a proven track record of building reliable systems that operate in real-world environments. Your hands-on experience with embedded Linux and device management tools allows you to effectively guide your team in evolving the software foundation for connected devices.
You possess excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with hardware, firmware, data/AI, security, and infrastructure teams. You are adept at improving system reliability and observability, and you thrive in environments that require fast iteration and adaptability. What you'll do
In this role, you will own and evolve Inspiren's embedded platform, supporting a growing fleet of connected devices in production. You will build systems for provisioning, updating, and monitoring device software with minimal downtime, ensuring that our devices operate reliably and efficiently. You will lead a small team of engineers, setting clear goals and providing mentorship to help them grow in their careers.
You will be responsible for improving reliability, observability, and incident response across device, network, and system layers. Your work will directly impact the safety and operational efficiency of senior living communities, making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and staff. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology solutions are aligned with user needs and business objectives.
