Who you are
You have a strong background in product analytics, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role where you've successfully driven growth through data-driven insights. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, while your familiarity with Google Analytics helps you track user behavior and engagement metrics. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify trends and patterns that inform product development and marketing strategies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
Desirable
Experience with A/B testing methodologies is a plus, as you will be responsible for designing experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker would enhance your ability to communicate insights effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with product managers and engineers to uncover insights that drive category growth and enhance the Shopping Marketplace experience. You will analyze user data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform product strategy. Your responsibilities will include conducting A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and providing recommendations based on your findings.
You will also collaborate with the analytics team to develop dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators, ensuring that the team is aligned on goals and progress. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of product development and marketing initiatives, helping Instacart to better serve its customers.
