What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer II at Instacart, you will focus on executing and delivering high-impact platform capabilities across the Enterprise Fulfillment Platform APIs and services. You will be responsible for designing APIs that facilitate seamless integrations with retailers and partners, ensuring that the fulfillment process is efficient and reliable.

You will work on complex areas such as fulfillment orchestration, where you will leverage your knowledge of distributed systems to enhance performance and scalability. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

You will also participate in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, helping to deliver an essential service that millions of customers rely on.
