What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Nubank, you will be responsible for designing and implementing horizontally scalable microservices using Clojure. You will leverage functional programming techniques and hexagonal architecture to create robust financial products that serve millions of customers. Your role will involve collaborating with other engineers to ensure high throughput and efficient inter-service communication using Kafka.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices. Your insights will help shape the technical direction of projects, and you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

In addition to coding, you will engage in discussions about system architecture and design, ensuring that our solutions are not only effective but also maintainable and scalable. You will work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring that our products are both functional and user-friendly.
