Intersection is hiring an Operations Supervisor to manage and lead a team of employees in Secaucus, New Jersey. You'll be responsible for planning and scheduling daily workloads while ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in operations management, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams. You are organized and resourceful, capable of solving problems creatively and efficiently. Your experience includes planning and assigning workloads to ensure timely completion of tasks. You understand the importance of safety in the workplace and promote the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among your team members. You are a self-starter who works well with others and can adapt to changing demands.
What you'll do
As an Operations Supervisor at Intersection, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your team. This includes planning and scheduling the workload of hourly staff, ensuring that all assignments are completed on time. You will monitor and assess employee performance in the field, providing guidance and support as needed. You will also maintain accurate records of work orders and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Your role will require you to work nights and weekends, and you will be based out of the Secaucus warehouse while traveling around the five boroughs using a company vehicle.
