Who you are
You are currently enrolled in a graduate program in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, or a related field, and you are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. Proficiency in Python is essential, and you have a working knowledge of image processing libraries. Your understanding of machine learning concepts and familiarity with MATLAB will help you excel in this role. You pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data collection and algorithmic testing. You are also comfortable communicating effectively with team members to provide updates on project progress and findings.
Desirable
Familiarity with AWS and SageMaker is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to contribute to cloud-based projects. Experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow will also be beneficial as you assist in image processing and analysis tasks. Understanding benchmarking metrics and performing ROC analysis will further support your contributions to the research team.
