Kabam is seeking a Game Designer (Contract) to design, document, and implement core game systems and content. This role involves working on systems, characters, economy, and meta design in the gaming industry.

You are a creative individual with a strong background in game design, capable of designing and implementing engaging game systems and content. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams to create exceptional gaming experiences. You are comfortable taking ownership of your work and delivering high-quality features with minimal supervision.
Desirable
Experience with free-to-play gaming models and an understanding of player engagement strategies would be beneficial. Familiarity with game development tools and methodologies is a plus, as is a portfolio showcasing your previous work in game design.
What you'll do
As a Game Designer at Kabam, you will report to the Lead Designer and be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing core game systems and content. You will work on various aspects of game design, including systems, characters, economy, and meta design, ensuring that all elements are of high quality and contribute to an engaging player experience. You will collaborate closely with other designers and developers to refine game mechanics and features, ensuring they align with the overall vision of the game.
