What you'll do
As a Machine Learning Engineer - Technical Lead at Kaluza, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of machine learning models that drive the Energy Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Data Science & Products to ensure that the algorithms you develop are effective and aligned with the company's mission of making clean energy dependable and affordable.
You will lead a team of data scientists and engineers, guiding them in best practices for model development and deployment. Your role will involve designing experiments, analyzing data, and iterating on models to improve performance. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into the broader platform, ensuring seamless coordination across various systems.
In addition to technical leadership, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will be an advocate for data-driven decision-making within the organization, promoting the use of analytics to inform product development and strategy.
