You have 5+ years of experience building and scaling production systems — you've owned critical services from design through deployment and have a strong understanding of how to debug complex issues. You thrive in ambiguity and take initiative, enjoying the challenge of owning systems end-to-end. Your communication skills allow you to convey technical complexity clearly to various audiences, and you listen actively to feedback, knowing that great software is built by teams, not individuals.

You have experience building platform services or shared infrastructure used by multiple teams, and knowledge of identity verification and KYC processes is a plus. You possess excellent debugging instincts and can piece together how unusual data states occurred, ensuring that the systems you build are rock-solid and scalable.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product Platform team, you'll be responsible for building and evolving the foundational systems that power every product Kikoff ships. Your work will directly enable product teams to move faster and serve customers better. You'll own critical platform services, including identity and KYC infrastructure, ensuring they are continuously improving and meeting the needs of the engineering organization.

You'll collaborate closely with product teams to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Your role will involve leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and improve product quality without sacrificing performance. You'll also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
