Overview
Krafton is hiring a Senior Server Programmer for Project AA to design and implement a new HTTP-based game server architecture. You'll work with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build and automate the infrastructure. This position requires 5+ years of experience in game server development.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in game server development, with a strong background in live operations. Your expertise includes designing, implementing, and operating servers, allowing you to take a leading role in the development process. You are familiar with both RDB and NoSQL databases, and you have hands-on experience with container-based environments and Kubernetes. Your skills in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) enable you to automate development and deployment processes effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to lead technical discussions and contribute to decision-making processes. You are open to international travel, ensuring you can collaborate with global teams. Your experience includes integrating external platforms, payment systems, and account systems, which is crucial for the role. You are passionate about creating engaging game content and services that resonate with players.
Desirable
Experience in building server architecture for initial-stage projects is a plus. You have dealt with large-scale traffic or rapid traffic changes, showcasing your ability to adapt server structures accordingly.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall architecture design and implementation of a new HTTP-based game server. You will build and automate the infrastructure and deployment environment using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform from the project's early stages. Your role will involve implementing server logic for game content and services, ensuring a seamless experience for players.
