Kronos Research is hiring a Quantitative Developer to work within their trading team, focusing on strategy implementation and system architecture optimization. You'll leverage your skills in C++, Java, or Golang, and SQL to enhance trading strategies and system performance.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Financial Engineering, or another highly quantitative field, and over 2 years of hands-on experience in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Golang. Your expertise in system architecture design and implementation allows you to develop efficient and fault-tolerant systems that meet specific trading requirements. You are proficient in Linux environments and have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, enabling you to produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Your familiarity with risk management skills, including options greeks, complements your technical abilities, making you a valuable asset to the trading team.
Desirable
Experience with common network protocol stacks such as IP, TCP, TLS, HTTP, and web sockets is a plus, as it enhances your capability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with quantitative researchers to expand trading opportunities and implement innovative trading strategies. Your independent working capability allows you to take initiative and contribute to the long-term development of the trading team.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Developer, you will be responsible for developing new trading logic to address specific trading requirements and maintaining existing trading strategies.
