You thrive in leadership roles, mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals. Your hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD practices ensures that you can contribute to production services while driving architectural decisions. You are passionate about AI and understand the challenges of building infrastructure that supports machine learning applications. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus, as it allows you to write code that enhances the infrastructure you manage. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools will help you maintain system reliability and performance. A background in working with multi-tenant architectures will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the architecture and evolution of Kumo's cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and scalability. You will design high-leverage systems that support the rapid deployment of AI applications, making critical architectural decisions that impact the entire organization. Your responsibilities will include mentoring engineers, driving cross-functional roadmaps, and collaborating with product teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business objectives. You will spend a meaningful portion of your time writing code, contributing to production services, and ensuring that the infrastructure meets the needs of Kumo's innovative AI platform. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in cloud security and compliance, ensuring that Kumo's infrastructure adheres to industry standards.
