What you'll do

As a Senior Python OSS Engineer at LangChain, you will be a core maintainer of the LangChain Python package, focusing on enhancing its core abstractions and runtime. Your responsibilities will include improving documentation to ensure clarity and usability for developers. You will also engage with the community by answering user questions and resolving issues, fostering a supportive environment for users of the LangChain and LangGraph frameworks. Additionally, you will utilize LangChain to build example applications that demonstrate the capabilities of the frameworks, helping to drive adoption and understanding.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to define the future direction of the LangChain project, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of developers. Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation, as you stay updated on the latest trends in AI and open-source development. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
