You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with fullstack and backend developers as well as UX/UI designers — your ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code is a testament to your attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. You are passionate about optimizing components for maximum performance, and you stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.

What you'll do

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at LangChain, you will develop new user-facing features for LangSmith, our enterprise platform focused on LLM application observability, testing, and debugging. You will be responsible for building reusable components and front-end libraries that will be utilized in future projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the platform. Your role will involve translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, optimizing components for performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.

You will collaborate with fullstack and backend developers to enhance usability and ensure that the platform meets the needs of our users. Your expertise in React and TypeScript will be crucial as you work on developing features that are not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall architecture of the front-end application, making decisions that impact the long-term success of the platform.
