What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at lemon.markets, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the backend architecture of our brokerage API platform. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing backend services that enable our partners to easily integrate investment products into their offerings. You will collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet both user needs and regulatory standards.

You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and monitoring. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also be responsible for optimizing existing services and troubleshooting any issues that arise in production.

In addition to your technical contributions, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support as they navigate their own projects. You will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
