Overview
LendingTree is hiring an Accounting Intern for Summer 2026 to assist with internal controls and support the accounting function. You'll gain hands-on experience with SOX software and ledger systems while working remotely.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a rising junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in Accounting or a related business field. You possess a very strong knowledge of Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS, and have taken classes or gained experience in Audit. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and jump into any tasks needed, demonstrating a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
What you'll do
In this internship, you will perform testing of internal controls and become familiar with SOX software for documenting results. You will learn how to use our ledger and ERP software to pull testing support and communicate with personnel throughout the company for testing-related requests. You will document your progress in completing tasks and regularly report to your manager on your progress, supporting the accounting and tax function on ad hoc projects.
