You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building maintainable and scalable applications. You excel at breaking down complex problems and designing elegant, easy-to-maintain solutions that are resilient and robust. Your ability to work within an existing codebase allows you to make necessary changes while managing risk effectively. You are skilled at gathering requirements from business managers and communicating ideas clearly to support multi-person projects and offshore teams.

You possess a deep understanding of backend services and web applications, and you are comfortable developing integrations with third-party APIs and managing databases. Your experience includes evaluating code quality and delegating work to offshore resources, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. You are passionate about solving problems and delighting customers and business partners through your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will evaluate code quality and delegate tasks for offshore resources, ensuring that the development process runs smoothly. You will develop scalable and maintainable backend services and web applications, which may include user interfaces and integrations with third-party APIs. Supporting existing applications will be a key responsibility, where you will troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and implement required upgrades and modifications to existing functionality.

You will collaborate closely with business partners to define and clarify project requirements and acceptance criteria, establishing success metrics for each project. Your role will involve working on multi-person projects, where your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the tech team.
