Data Engineer

Who you are

You have experience building both streaming and batch data pipelines, along with a solid understanding of design principles. Your expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, and PL/pgSQL allows you to develop and administer large databases with a focus on performance and production support in native cloud environments. You are familiar with scalability solutions and multi-region replication and failover strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability across systems.

You have hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies such as Trino, Clickhouse, and Airflow, which enables you to manage complex data workflows efficiently. Your educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, equipping you with the foundational knowledge necessary for this role. You are a collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to contribute to innovative projects in the compute economy.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at Luxor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines that support our full-stack platform for Bitcoin miners and the broader compute industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and ensure seamless integration of data across various systems. Your role will involve monitoring and maintaining data quality, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise in production environments.

You will also work on enhancing our data infrastructure, focusing on scalability and performance improvements. This includes implementing best practices for data management and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will have the opportunity to shape mission-critical systems and influence company-wide strategies as Luxor continues to scale rapidly across software, hardware, financial, energy, and cloud infrastructure products.
